What each measurement tells you

Overall length describes the product from end to end. It may include a handle, base, controller, or non-usable section. Insertable or usable length should be used only when the listing identifies it clearly. Width may describe the widest point, while diameter applies to a roughly circular cross-section.

Circumference measures around a shape. Although a mathematical conversion between diameter and circumference is possible for a perfect circle, many products are tapered, irregular, or textured. Prefer the measurement published for the actual product instead of calculating a new claim.

Keep labels and units together

Record both the number and its unit. Do not compare inches with centimeters until units are converted carefully, and do not remove the field label when making a comparison table. "6 inches" is ambiguous if it is unclear whether the value means total length, usable length, or circumference.

When a listing offers several variants, confirm that each measurement belongs to the selected variant. A value from one size or model should not be copied to another.

Size questions change by product type

Sleeves and strokers may need internal dimensions rather than exterior length. Vibrators and anal products often require attention to maximum width, usable length, handle or base, and overall shape. Rings and wearable products may use inner diameter or circumference. Dolls and torsos require overall dimensions and weight because carrying, cleaning, storage, and delivery access can matter as much as a single body measurement.

Use weight as a logistics measurement

Weight affects handling, storage shelves, cleaning setup, and the ability to move a product. For large-format products, check both dimensions and weight before purchase. Do not infer either from photography; camera distance, cropping, and props distort scale.

There is no universal best size

Measurements support comparison but cannot guarantee comfort or an outcome. Avoid labels such as "perfect beginner size" unless the page is simply quoting an approved, well-defined product classification—and even then, the actual measurements should remain visible.
